@artwwweb yup, me too. Spread the word if you can. It's a show that even newbies seem to like  (7 minutes ago)

@AndyT306 I think I've had enough. Still managed to keep team happy and a fair few assists. Nearly played for 50 seasons though  (52 minutes ago)

@AndyT306 especially for a 63 year old. Someone told me they'd got over 100 so pretty much took every shot I could. Got 1st double hatrick  (58 minutes ago)

@AndyT306 I spend mine on energy drinks. Can't be bothered with horses usually!  (1 hour ago)

@AndyT306 impressed by how much money you've accrued. But I am now 64 and scored 108 goals last season so I have so much more to lose  (2 hours ago)

Richard Herring December News

Hello everyone
Christmas is coming, Rich is getting fat

Here's what's coming up in the arse end of 2011, plus some things you might want for Christmas!

CHRIST ON A BIKE DVD
The DVD of Christ on a Bike, the Second Coming is now out. It's a double disc set packed with extras and will be available in the shops and Amazon and Play and so on. But there is a third disc which includes a Collings and Herrin Live gig (not available anywhere else), the 1999 documentary "Richard Herring in Fiji" and much more which is only available from Go Faster Stripe - http://www.gofasterstripe.com/cgi-bin/website.cgi?page=videofull&id=11309
You can also purchase a show programme from that website, all the profits of which will go to SCOPE
So please buy this from gofasterstripe who will plough your money back into making loads of non-profitable DVDs from brilliant comedians who wouldn't get to make DVDs otherwise.
It's the perfect Christmas gift. Much better than some myrrh anyway.

FIST OF FUN DVD
The four disc set of series 1 of Fist of Fun will be available exclusively from Go Faster Stripe http://www.gofasterstripe.com on December 6th (slight production delay - sorry). We have bought this ourselves at some expense, because the BBC did not want to bring it out. But we know you want to have it. It includes all 6 episodes and the pilot episode, plus studio rushes (for most of the shows) including some unbroadcast sketches, retakes and lots of banter. There is also commentaries from Stew and me for each episode (and some from Kevin Eldon and Ben Moor too), an exclusive interview with Stew and me about the series and pdfs of LOADS of scripts and memorabilia. It's pretty awesome. It's £25 + p&p.
Series 2 will be out next year and if these do well we'll look in to releasing TMWRNJ (tmwrnj) too.
It's the perfect Christmas gift as well. What, do you only get people one gift? Please buy it for all your friends and family!

WHAT IS LOVE ANYWAY? TOUR
Thanks to all those of you who came to the autumn leg of the tour. There are loads more dates in the new year and they're selling well, so book now - http://www.richardherring.com/wila/tour.php
A couple of new dates are in there (Reading) and I will also be doing the show at the Machynlleth Comedy Festival in Wales in May 2012 http://www.machcomedyfest.co.uk/

RICHARD HERRING'S OBJECTIVE
The second series of my Radio 4 show is underway on at 6.30pm on Tuesdays. Have had great feedback on the first two episodes (especially the wheelchair one which is the BBC Comedy Podcast of the Week). Tonight (the 22nd) I am investigating the Page 3 Girl (I have a tough job) and next week it's the Old School Tie. They are available on iPlayer once they've been broadcast.

LYRIC HAMMERSMITH
The last Lyric Comedy night of 2011 is on November 27 with Peter Serafinowicz, Francesca Martinez (who was brilliant on Objective) Joe Lycett and Jarred Christmas - http://www.lyric.co.uk/whats-on/production/comedy-night-november/?pes=Comedy

OTHER GIGS
I am appearing in all the performances of Robin Ince's Christmas shows at the Bloomsbury - but think they are all sold out - http://www.thebloomsbury.com/event/run/1604

PODCASTS
Andrew Collins and I recorded a podcast last month which you can listen to here - http://www.comedy.co.uk/podcasts/collingsherrin/ or on iTunes
I was hoping we could carry on with these, but Andrew has lost the enthusiasm for them and it looks like that one will be the last. Thanks for listening over the last three years. I am sorry to be leaving them behind.
This might mean that I give my snooker podcast a go though. So double bad news!
After the What is Love, Anyway? tour I will be doing a weekly podcast at the Leicester Square Theatre in the same vein as the Edinburgh Fringe ones.
You can subscribe to Warming Up daily podcast on iTunes or via Soundcloud http://soundcloud.com/herring1967

GORGEOUS
I am about halfway through the second draft of my comedy drama script about a fictional Somerset gorge - "Gorgeous". I will be giving it in at the end of the month and then we can do nothing but wait to see what happens.

Have a great Christmas and a Happy Final New Year (according to the Mayan calendar)
R K Herring
