Richard Herring March News

Hi cool kids.
Here's all the stuff that's going on in March.

RICHARD HERRING'S MEANING OF LIFE
Three episodes are now in the can and after some very hard work from the gofasterstripe.com team episode one is now available for audio and video subscribers. Just head to http://www.gofasterstripe.com/rhmol and pay £15 for the series on video (you get HD, SD and audio versions for that price) or £6 for audio only. You get a longer version of the show if you pay with 43 extra minutes (including the full interview with Marcus Chown and a good long routine about Genesis). There are also a couple of extra bits and pieces going up on that channel.
The shorter free version (still around 40 minutes long) will be out on audio and video on 27th February
You can watch the free video here - https://vimeo.com/channels/rhmol
Or download the free audio from the British Comedy Guide - http://www.comedy.co.uk/podcasts/richard_herring_meaning_of_life/
Or subscribe on iTunes - https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/richard-herrings-meaning-life/id814430604

As this series is costing us £20,000 to produce we could really do with your help to finance it. If you can't afford a subscription then please consider paying a pound or more (in return for a badge) at http://www.gofasterstripe.com/rhmol
If you want to help us create even more exciting uncensored internet content then it would be wonderful if you were able to donate a pound or more a month. http://www.gofasterstripe.com/rhmol
In return you will a badge and also (eventually) a password to a secret channel where we will load up exciting and/or exclusive content just for you.
All the money raised from the badges will go back into making new content. We are for example hoping to make a monthly filmed version of an ALL NEW (except we'll probably do the motorcycling clothing shop sketch) AIOTM. I really like the idea of this stuff being funded by the people who watch it rather than a broadcaster or sponsor. If everyone who listened to RHLSTP would give us a pound a month then we could do some amazing stuff. If you think that the free blogs and podcasts are worth 3p a day, then it would be terrific if you could donate a pound a month. You will be like micro-Medicis, patrons of c*ck jokes.
If not then I will do my best to carry on providing stuff for nothing, but with a tiny amount of help from each of you we could provide you with so much more.
If you can't afford to pay anything or just don't see why you should, then please spread the word about the podcasts and the video to your friends. Hopefully one of them might be willing to pay.
So far we have not raised enough money to pay for the badges! So there's some way to go.

There are still three recordings of the show which you can attend for just £10 a ticket. Thanks so much to all those of you who have come so far. Plenty of tickets left for the remaining shows so come along it you can - https://leicestersquaretheatre.ticketsolve.com/shows/873495678

RHLSTP
We are currently recording series 5 of RHLSTP
The first episode with Adam Buxton is now available on paid video and audio at http://www.gofasterstripe.com/rhlstp5. You can buy the whole series or individual episodes. We have already recorded chats with Jenny Eclair, Helen and Olly from Answer Me This! and Robert Llewellyn from Red Dwarf. And there are loads of great guests to come.
The free audio of episode one will go up on Thursday 27th February at the British Comedy Guide - http://www.comedy.co.uk/podcasts/richard_herring_lst_podcast/ or on iTunes - https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/richard-herrings-leicester/id520831548

The line-ups for the rest of the series are
March 3rd Alexei Sayle and Greg Davies (very nearly sold out)
March 10th Danny Baker and TBC
March 17th Harry Shearer (from Spinal Tap and the Simpsons) and TBC
March 24th Nick Helm from Uncle and journalist and screenwriter Jon Ronson

FUBAR RADIO
I am doing a new weekly show on Fubar Radio with Lou Sanders. It's a subscription based internet station with no censorship. You get an awful lot of content for a small monthly payment. All the details are on their website - http://fubarradio.com/

RADIO
I am on this week's Just A Minute and another show later in this series - Listen to the 1st one here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006s5dp. Hope Cheddar enjoyed the free tourism advert

EDINBURGH 2014
I am doing a stand up show provisionally called, "Lord of the Dance Settee" and also planning to write a play called "I Killed Rasputin". I have no details of where or when these will be on yet. There will be no more RHEFP I am afraid as it just took up too much time and energy for me.

NETFLIX
Four of my stand up shows are now available for UK members of Netflix, Christ on a Bike, Hitler Moustache, The Headmaster's Son and What is Love, Anyway? There might be more if these ones prove popular, so tell your Netflix member friends. What is Love, Anyway? is on the US site. Again if lots of people watch it they will probably add more. You can see all of these for free if you sign up for a month and then leave.

MERCH
For T-shirts, hoodies and mugs head to http://richardherring.cottoncart.com/
For DVDs and books check out http://www.gofasterstripe.com/

METRO
Not been sacked yet. Read all the columns here - http://metro.co.uk/author/richard-herring-ukmetro/

I know this is a stupid amount of stuff, but hope you will appreciate how much of it is free. Hope you enjoy the new content. Let me know what you think.
