Programme for French Talking Cock

Programme for French Talking Cock

Very impressive and expensive programme for the French production of "Qu'est-ce que sexe?"
I have omitted several pages of glossy ads and details about the theatre.

A fairly stupid questionnaire

Here are my answers to another email based questionnaire.
Just so those questions are covered in case anyone else was thinking of asking them.

Card from the Box Lady

Card from the Box Lady

This is the card I received from the Box Lady (see warming up Tuesday 17th June 2003).
As you can see the picture is quite cheery, but at the same time slightly threatening. A crowd of people giving me the thumbs-up. But is this just false friendliness? Does something more sinister await me from this crowd if I fail to give them what they want (ie boxes)? How genuine are those smiles? - not very.
And there is Lily's note with only her obsolete phone number and address obscured to protect the innocent.

A song based questionnaire

This is a revealing questionnaire I filled in for a fanzine called "Addressed But Not Sent" asking for a sound-track to my life.

Obscure Lee and Herring script from 1991

Obscure Lee and Herring script from 1991

In early 1991 me and Stew were asked to do a gig for IBM by our mate Tony Brennan who worked for them at the time. I guess this is the closest we ever came to doing a corporate, though I think we were paid £50 each, for which we did the script you are about to read, and then also a stand up set each at a party afterwards. Though we also got free drink.
It is, I suppose, the first time me and Stew ever worked together as a double act and there's some quite funny stuff in there. Alas, pages six and seven have been lost with the passage of time, and I expect they were the funniest of all.. yes, definitely.

Publicity and Reviews of Fist of Fun series 1

Publicity and Reviews of Fist of Fun series 1

Lots of press about Fist of Fun, when we were young and outspoken fools. Look out for the stuff we say about Ben Elton, and then his reply. The Independent article by James Rampton is titled "Two Ever So Slightly Irritated Young Men."
The Page 3 girl appeared in one of the sketches in the series, though I have a feeling it never made it to the screen.

Photos from the Trevi Fountain

Some photos from my holiday in Italy, which show you the fountain itself (I was trying to get a picture of the just married couple, but they are largely obliterated by others) and the charming Foto Espresso (actually Espress as it turns out!) man who you can read about in the November 21st, 2003 Warming Up entry.
