New Radio Show plus gigs

Hello everyone!
Here's the latest news about what I'm up to over the next few months.

I will be appearing in a pilot episode of a new semi-topical radio show called "That Was Then, This Is Now" at the Riverside Studios in Hammersmith on the 8th February. Details about how to book (free) tickets for this show can be found at http:/www.lostintv.com/week/week.htm

I am doing two gigs this weekend at Nottingham Lakeside
(16th and 17th January 2004) at 8pm. The address is
Lakeside Arts Centre- Djanogly Theatre
University Park
Nottingham
NG7 2RD
Box Office 0115 846 7777
Tickets £12/£9

I am also appearing at Southport Arts Centre
31st January 2004 at 8pm
The address is Southport Arts Centre
Lord St
Southport
Merseyside
PR8 1DB
Tickets £12
Sorry I don't have the box office number for that one.
These will be amongst your last chances to see this show, which I will be retiring in April of this year.

Next week I am travelling to Paris to see the opening night of the French Talking Cock. I don't have the details yet, but if anyone wants to know how to get tickets then email me and I'll try to find out for you.

My marathon training continues apace. You can see me trying out my stuff at the Watford half Marathon on 1st February and the Sussex Downs Half Marathon on 22nd February. Please shout encouragement if you see a puffy-faced, fat man lolloping by. It will probably be me, but if not the puffy-faced fat man will enjoy the support.
If you haven't yet sponsored me for the run then please do. All money raised goes to SCOPE and even the smallest donation is most welcome. You can do this on-line at http://www.justgiving.co.uk/herringmarathon
or you can send cheques made payable to SCOPE to
Richard Herring, c/o Avalon, 4a Exmoor St, London, W10 6BD

You can still read about my training and other adventures at http://www.richardherring.com/warmingup/
which is updated every day.

My book, "Talking Cock" is still available in the shops. Apparently Virgin Megastore in Oxford St is selling it for £4.99. Buy it now before it's being sold for £1.99 in bargain book shops.

Hope you're all having a great new year
Rich
