Lots of exciting news from Richard Herring

Dear All

Just a quickie to give you info on a couple of things that you might want to get in your new 2007 diaries. Please book ahead for both events as they are likely to sell out.

First up is a benefit gig which will see the first live performance from the defunct double act Lee and Herring since 1999 (I will also be doing a solo set consisting of the "My wife went on holiday routine which has not been performed since 1987- and for good reason). The rest of the bill is pretty blooming incredible too. At time of writing the seetickets allocation has sold out, but there are still limited tickets available from the Bloomsbury Box Office. Book now because this WILL sell out!

A benefit to raise money to pay for the production of a 4 cd box set of the complete works of the 1980’s cult comedian ‘Ted Chippington’, whose vaudeville surrealism predated Vic Reeves and whose ultra deadpan delivery and contempt for the very idea of jokes influenced a generation of comics without any of them even knowing who Ted was. Ted Chippington will not be performing or attending the event
