If the solar system is constantly moving through space and we can use telescopes to look at stars from billions of years ago. If we look in the right direction will we be able to see our solar system in the past?
And if we really zoom in might we be able to see Jesus 2000 years ago and see what his deal really was?
And if science is right, how come I can't see the Earth from yesterday up in the sky? And zoom in to see what I was doing, so I can remember for my blog?
When will someone use science for good?
It's all very well finding a right old galaxy but come back when you can see stuff that happened a bit more recently. Or a lot longer ago.
It's impressive that we have a telescope that can see back to 280 million years after the creation of the Universe. They just have to make it a bit more powerful and then we'll actually be able to see how it all began. My guess is some bloke in a laboratory dropped a test tube and we're going to get a photo of his whoops face.
I am not stupid enough to believe that the being who did that would be humanoid. Or that the test tube would be the same shape as the ones we have. It'd be expecting too much, I think, for some being 13.8 billion years ago to set into motion a chain reaction that over 13 billion years later, in one insignificant location of the sprawling explosion you'd caused, would somehow create beings that looked a bit like you. Even if there were 10 billion of those creatures it's still pretty unlikely that one of them would be the image of you. And if you want something that is your image then don't create a Universe, accidentally or on purpose, just make a 3D printer.
I can't see any creator surviving that original explosion and if they somehow did then I am sceptical that they or even their progeny would be around 13.8 billion years later. And even if they've got a really good telescope they're not going to be able to see us anyway.
Be nice if we get a picture of the being that started this though. Maybe looking annoyed by their mistake, maybe with their version of a thumb up to show us that they knew what they were doing and that we'd eventually look back at them.
We can't be far off not though. We've looked by over 13 billion years, whats another 280 million. We're so close.
If it turns out we're in the Twilight Zone the telescope will get a photo and it'll turn out that the person in the photo is the same person taking the photo, and when they realise they will turn round to look at the camera and then move the telescope so it knocks over a test tube of explosives and it turns out that the person trying to find the person who started the Universe is the person that started (and ended) the Universe and so on to infinity.
Hope it's me. What an honour that would be.

And unbelievably there's a third episode of Craven Newsround to enjoy in whatever way you see fit, including the life expectancy of Donald Trump, how grey hair stops cancer and why you should/should not be masturbating in the gym.
