30th March Someone Likes Yoghurt, MAC Birmingham

RADIO
The last episode of Banter is broadcast on Radio 4 at 6.30pm on Thursday 2nd March. Had lots of good feedback on this and fingers crossed for a second series.

I continue to review the papers with Andrew Collings on his 6Music show on Sunday afternoons at around 3pm. It's a really fun half hour (maybe especially for us - we had to play a record because we were laughing so much last week) and worth a listen.

You can listen again to both these shows. Details on my website.

I am taking part in a discussion about religion and comedy at the BBC on the 7th March. Not sure if it's going to be broadcast or if you can get tickets to come along, but keep an eye on the website for details.

I am back on the BBC7 show "Serious About Comedy" this month too. My guess is the show will be broadcast on 24th March. Again the details will be up at richardherring.com nearer the time.

I am performing on the Radio 4 show "28 acts in 28 minutes" on the 27th March. Not sure when it will be broadcast yet. Ticket info will be available when I have it.

TV
I have completed a second draft of my sit-com "You Can Choose Your Friends..." for the BBC. I haven't heard whether we are going to be making it yet, but early reports back are positive.

I will be writing a comedy drama script for Channel 4 this month, which I am quite excited about and have just handed in another treatment to the BBC.

No news on the TV version of Warming Up at the moment, so not sure whether that will be happening.

DVDs
I am looking into getting some DVDs made of filmings of my Hercules show and also possibly of a single camera recording of Someone Likes Yoghurt. Hopefully these will be available in the next month or so at as low a cost as possible (I am only looking to cover my expenses so they certainly won't be more than £10 per show -including postage) More news of this will be on the way as soon as I have found someone to give me a good deal on the copying of the discs. If you know anyone who can help with this then tell them to get in touch with me.

That's it for the moment. Do keep checking out the blog at www.richardherring.com/warmingup and pass the link on to anyone you think might be interested.
If you want to email me do NOT reply to this message, but use richardherring@richardherring.com
Cheers, you are all so great!
