Richard Herring February News

Hi all
My big news this month is that I am now someone's father. My daughter Phoebe was born on the 10th February. Luckily she looks just like her mother, though she has inherited my flatulence (and we are guff twins - I can't tell ours apart). She's beautiful and has turned me into a soppy twit, so enjoy me on tour now, doing comedy that I wrote before becoming a dad. I don't care though. I am utterly delighted by her. The rest of you can give up trying. The perfect human has finally been created.

As much as I'd like to stay at home and look into her eyes for the rest of my life I have to do some work so I can buy her bottom ointment and hats, so here's what's going on this month

The tour is properly underway now and it's likely that I am coming to a theatre near you between now and June. It's a really good show and it's getting better all the time. I'd love you to see it. And I'd love it even more if you told your friends to see it! Or just keep me your own little secret, you bustards.

Check out for all the dates (some new ones have been added, including Sligo in April)

I am adding stuff to ebay every week including old scripts, rare photos and programmes, signed snooker balls (signed by all the stars of Me1 Vs Me2 snooker podcast), and old Lee and Herring T-shirts and props. At the moment you can bid on a rare "You Can't Even Drive" T shirt and amazingly one of Histor the crow's stunt wings (used when he was hitting Pliny etc). We're using the money to fund future internet projects
Check it out here -

You can get this on DVD for £15 or (without most of the extras) as a £5 download at
It's also now available on the iTunes store -

We're back in June and July with more shows - Won't be booking the guests for a while but there are some good ones in the pipeline - (it's worth taking a punt and booking now, some of these will sell out straight away when names are announced)
In the mean time we are releasing some of the previous series video RHLSTPS for free on youtube, vimeo and iTunes. is my youtube channel where you can get these and other fun bits and bobs.

King of Edinburgh Fringe
Tickets are selling well for the ridiculous run of 12 different shows in 6 weeks at the Leicester Square Theatre in August and September. If you come to them all you get a badly hand-drawn T shirt of one of the posters, badly drawn by my tiny hands. Tickets become cheaper if you book for 3, 6 or all 12 shows-

I Paid a Pound
Pay a pound or more a month to help us make more internet content more quickly, or just because you like what we've done already and want to give us something back. You get access to an exclusive channel of extras, like backstage interviews at RHLSTP and a forthcoming shonky partial recording of my 1996 play Punk's Not Dead, plus entry to a monthly draw and you get first news of special offers and RHLSTP guests. Mainly though a tiny payment from you can help us to make more great internet based content. Jump aboard this crazy bus. You get a badge as well -

I am in one episode of Listomania on Radio 2 this month. It was a lot of fun to record. Don't know how much they can broadcast.

One more episode to come - sorry that these take so long to get to you. But they are getting better and we've learned a lot. If you haven't checked out the later episodes you might be pleasantly surprised
They're all on my youtube channel for free -
Or on audio at the British Comedy Guide - or iTunes

Buy the full length episodes here either individually or get the series pass - There's loads more stand up and the full interviews in these.

ME1 Vs ME2 Snooker
The players are desperate to get back to the green board, but Me1's baby is taking up too much of his time. Hopefully there will be another one soon -

All go out and make love and have children. It's a wonderful thing and I am an idiot for leaving it this long. Have a child with the next person you see.
See you on tour or on the interweb
Rich xx
