Richard Herring October News

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well, though statistically this is unlikely. But for those of you who are unwell, then I hope you get well soon. And for those of you who are well, I hope you don't catch that nasty bug that's going round. Though statistically many of you are bound to. I wish I had more power over these things.
Anyhoo, here is what I am up to in the month of October -

THAT WAS THEN THIS IS NOW
You might still be able to book free tickets to see the third series of Radio 2's "That Was Then, This Is Now" starring Richard Herring, Emma Kennedy, Dan Tetsell and Danny Robins on Oct 22, Nov 12 and Dec 3 at Bush Hall, Uxbridge Rd, London W12 by visiting http://www.lostintv.com/frameset.html?http://www.lostintv.com/twttinadvance.htm
Sorry if they are all gone. It's not like I didn't warn you.
This show will begin broadcast, I believe, on the 25th November on Radio 2.

TV
You can catch me on this week's edition of Screenwipe. It's a very funny show, but I think they have edited my bit down to exclude all the funny things I said. It's a shame, but it's still worth a look Details at http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/features/screen-wipe.shtml
I have also been mentoring the hip-hop rapper Example in order to help him try out as a stand-up comedian for a piece that will end up on "The Culture Show" on BBC2 (I think). Not sure when it will be going out, but probably towards the end of the month.
We are still waiting to hear news on a possible series of "You can Choose Your Friends" though it's not dead in the water yet. I am afraid the prospects for "Double Act" appearing on Channel 4 are looking less positive.

DVDs
Work has begun on editing the menage a un show that I recorded in June, so you never know it might be out in time for Christmas. In the meantime you can still buy the Hercules and Yoghurt DVDS by going to http://www.gofasterstripe.com/
Simon Munnery's DVD is now out and I can't recommend it enough. He is a comedy genius and if you haven't seen him you must buy this DVD! The more you support this excellent enterprise the more likely that they can release more of my shows. So buy everything they produce please. Also some stuff by a promising newcomer, Stewart Lee.

I hope that is enough for you to be getting on with. I'd better go and write some sketches for TWTTIN, which I have done nothing for yet. Just waiting to see if some more history happens before I get going.

I love you all in a non-literal sense
Richard Herring
