The best bits of writing seem to happen when I’m not really trying or paying attention. Today I came up with a crucial plot idea whilst working the dog and listening to an audiobook (the idea had nothing to do with either). I wasn’t even thinking about the script (I didn’t think) but then I had the idea. It was sort of an obvious thing to explore, but that had not struck me in any of the previous four months of trying to do this bloody thing.
So I continue to believe that someone is beaming these scripts into my head at odd intervals. Why are they doing it? Why are they waiting so long to give me plot ideas, which presumably they could have sent 4 months ago and saved me a lot of fretting? Why use telepathy and not just post me the scripts? If they have perfected telepathy technology why are their scripts so mediocre that they never seem to attract attention from anyone and most times never get made? Why don’t they use the telepathy to influence executives and audiences to like the scripts that they are working on? Why not just sell the scripts direct rather than going through me?
None of it makes sense, but it’s the only feasible explanation as to why this is happening.
It was the key to script 4 (the 5th script I am writing) and maybe the whole second half of the series and I made some good progress, but still didn’t have this 5th script done by the end of the day as I hoped. I need one more sub plot and maybe a day’s worth of writing. Leaving me four or five days to come up with the final episode of the series. Someone should make me writing this script into a series. You can’t deny that it’s super exciting.
Someone tweeted me to let me know the cat is out the bag. If you put Richard Herring net worth into google then it tells you that I have 95 million dollars. It doesn’t really matter what kind of dollars you are talking about, even Zimbabwean ones gives me over £200,000. What can I say? I got paid a lot for appearing on “What the Dickens” and I invested the money wisely. Please keep buying badgers and merch. I’m so close to 100 million dollars now that it’d be a shame to stop.

We went to see London Hughes at the Bloomsbury tonight. She’s having a blistering year (it’s all down to RHLSTP) and the show had sold out months ago and the place was buzzing with excitement. London is crazy, clownish and sex-obsessed and I am at least two of those things (clearly I am sane), so it pushed all my buttons. She’s off to America, of course and I suspect she will take the country by storm and be a huge star. Confident, honest and sexy, yet still happy to look ridiculous. She’s a phenomenon, certainly on stage and I suspect off. Go and see her if you get the chance.
Third night out in a week and I don’t know the last time I did that. I was even more excited by the ease of the drive in and the fact that I could park for free right outside the Bloomsbury. And with an electric car the travel was pretty much free too.
Shame the kids can’t look after themselves cos the babysitter cost over fifty quid. I know I’ve got 95 million, but it still hurts.

RHLSTP with Nick Frost went up today.
It's another very honest one and quite serious, but I remember it was a goodie.
