No one is likely to accuse Richard Herring of being nice, but he is still as brave from a performance perspective. The Fringe old-timer is looking to provoke with his 25th Edinburgh show, Hitler Moustache.

Bidding to reclaim the toothbrush moustache from Adolf Hitler for comedy and Charlie Chaplin, Herring has sprouted a splendid bristler which, along with his piercing gaze, creates an unsettling air of Germany's Nazi leader. In fact, much of the show ends up becoming a rambling rant against the British National Party and the 'racist' facilitators who allowed them in at the European Elections by not voting.

Despite his heroic efforts, Herring may not be able to wrestle the toothbrush moustache from Hitler's evil clutches, but his unsightly growth is still a force for political good.
