Is the London Lite written for children? (I know the Metro isn't because there was a half page ad for "longer lasting sex" all over it today.
Calming music. That is just so funny.

PS I think that on the basis that the mysterious Virgilio has now taken ownership of Leeson-Cox's affectionate Facebook page, there is a distinct likelihood they are the same person? (I could be a detective me, sharp as nails me)

Yeah, exactly! Now where have we seen comedians with cress before? I wonder...Aaaahhhh - Rich's Cress Shrine/Shrine to Cress - call it by it's name. I was shouting at the telly last night - mad woman! - "Copycats!!-it's been done". Oh well, it proves it was a good idea-shame they didn't put TMWRNJ on afterwards to show everyone where the idea came from, wasn't it!

I agree. My fave moment is the "National Express" song as mimed by Stew and acted out by Rich on TMWRNJ. Seeing them running up and down waving their arms in the air was hilarious. I haven't watched it again on here yet but will soon. It's still the funniest thing I've ever seen on the telly-ah ha!!

I signed the petition last night and am waiting patiently for a Virgilio Anderson tee shirt - ha ha - that guy is going to end up famous whether he likes it or not! I bet he'll like it. I think that most people enjoy the attention that fame brings. I used to sing on the stage - it was fun, I'd do it again. It can be nerve-racking though, especially if someone forgets the words-which happened a few times! All those eyes staring up at you. It's tempting to run off the stage like "Little Voice"!
What do you do if people don't laugh (for some strange reason) at your jokes, Rich?

Sayed Qotb (various spellings as it's an arabic name), the Egyptian islamic fundamentalist philospher also had a toothbrush moustache- watch episode one of Adam Curtis' "The Power of Nightmares"- and this in the USA in the 1950s! Here's a photo of him much later in his life, still sporting the 'brush:

Maybe in Islamic parts of the world it's known as a "Qotb 'tache"...

I've no idea what good will come of it, but I've just been sucked into doing this:

Hi,

I wanted to draw your attention to this important petition that I recently signed:

"Who is Virgilio Anderson?"
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/VirgilioAnderson?e

I really think this is an important cause, and I'd like to encourage you to add your signature, too. It's free and takes less than a minute of your time.

Thanks!
